The following series, "Tapas de Registro Rellenables" (Infill Paving Trays), displays a collection of 100 photographs documenting misplaced manhole covers. All images were taken in May 2026 in the city of Almería, most of them in the side streets surrounding Paseo de Almería. While the boulevard itself has only recently been renovated and still appears flawless, many neighbouring streets in the city centre are marked by disrupted paving patterns, caused by incorrectly repositioned infill paving trays. There seems to be a strong tendency among workers to misplace the covers after completing their maintenance work. It remains unclear whether this is the result of sheer carelessness, a joke, or some form of protest.
