This website was created to provide an overview of my recent work.
Here, on the "About" page, I am trying to add a little bit of personal context:

I am Austrian, born 2002 in Central Carinthia, where I grew up and continued to live until I recently moved to the Spanish city of Almería.

During the years after compulsory education and before Almería, I was active as a self employed antiques dealer, primarily focusing on three fields: analogue and early digital cameras, vintage briefcases, and old masters, as well as 19th century paintings.

Since it was the obvious thing to do, the decision was made last year to from now on fully dedicate myself to my own artistic practice.

The last years, the focus mainly lied on my so far main project, "Church Reflections". The more varied part of collecting its photographic material is already done. Processing it into final photos and dealing with the project specific technical challenges is a very tedious task. Nevertheless, as presented on the website, more than 50 images of the in total roughly 80 are already completed, the rest will follow in the next months.

Generally, I am not bound to one medium. Because there was a strong urge to work with haptic materials again, I recently started a new mixed media painting series. Results will be presented soon.
