This website was created to provide an overview of my recent work.
Here, on the "About" page, I am trying to add a little bit of personal context:

I am Austrian, born 2002 in Central Carinthia, where I grew up and continued to live until I moved to the Spanish city of Almería in Winter 2024/25.

Between the years after compulsory education and before Almería, I was active as a self-employed antiques dealer, primarily focusing on three fields: analogue and early digital cameras, vintage briefcases, and old master to 19th-century paintings.

Since it was the obvious thing to do, the decision was made last year to from now on fully dedicate myself to my own artistic practice.

In recent years, my focus has primarily been on the ongoing photography project, “Church Reflections”. This spring, I returned to working with tactile materials and produced the mixed-media painting series, “Himmelswracks”. Shortly afterwards, two photographic series, “Tapas de Registro” and “Fading Memorial Portraits”, were completed. The latest project is “Porcelain Body”, a group of digital works depicting porcelainized body sections. While I continue to occasionally add new photographs to the “Church Reflections” series, I am currently working on new mixed-media paintings.
